Team members & roles

Inviting team members

Team members get access to your dashboard and can receive lead notifications. To invite someone:

    Go to Settings → Team in your dashboard.
  2. 2
    Click Invite team member and enter their name and phone number.
  3. 3
    They'll receive an SMS with a link to access the dashboard.
Team members are available on Professional (up to 3) and Business (unlimited) plans.

Permissions

Each team member has configurable permissions. You can grant or revoke any of these in Settings → Team → [member name]:

  • Receive lead alerts — gets notified when a hot/warm lead comes in
  • Receive escalations — gets notified when the AI can't answer a question
  • Receive morning report — gets the daily morning summary
  • Receive weekly report — gets the weekly analytics report
  • View conversations — can read all customer conversations in the dashboard
  • Take over conversations — can manually step in and reply to customers

Owners always have full access and can't have permissions restricted.

Who gets notified

For each notification type, AdaptLocal looks for team members with the matching permission. If no team member has that permission enabled, the notification goes to the owner's phone by default.

Example: if you invite a dispatcher and give them "Receive lead alerts," they'll get the lead SMS instead of (or in addition to) you — depending on your setup.

Removing a team member

Go to Settings → Team → [member name] → Remove. Their dashboard access is revoked immediately and they'll no longer receive any notifications.
