Notifications

SMS alerts

SMS notifications are sent from your AdaptLocal number to your phone (or your team members' phones, based on permissions).

  • Hot lead alerts — immediate SMS when a qualified hot lead comes in. Includes customer name, phone, service requested, and a dashboard link. Professional and Business plans only.
  • Escalation alerts — SMS when the AI needs your help answering a customer question. You reply directly to this text.

Toggle these in Settings → Notifications → SMS Alerts.

Email notifications

Email notifications are sent to the email address on your account. Professional and Business plans only.

  • New lead email — fires alongside the hot lead SMS with richer detail (full conversation summary, lead score, service, location, dashboard link).
  • Daily morning summary — email version of the morning report, with conversation counts and highlights.
  • Weekly performance report — email version of the weekly report with full stats and top services.

Toggle these in Settings → Notifications → Email Notifications.

Morning report

Every morning at your configured report time (default: 7am, in your timezone), you receive a summary of overnight activity. On Essentials, this is a brief count and one highlight. On Professional and Business, it's a full breakdown with customer details.

Change the report time in Settings → Notifications → Morning report time.

Weekly report

Every Sunday, you receive a weekly performance report with: total conversations, new vs. returning customers, lead breakdown (hot/warm/cold), top services, escalations, review requests sent, and owner takeover count.

Available on Professional and Business plans.

Managing preferences

All notification settings are in Dashboard → Settings → Notifications. Changes take effect immediately — there's no save button, just toggle the switches.

Team members have their own notification settings managed via Settings → Team → [member name].
